Welcome to my SCC website. Courses you may take with me include Expository Writing, Professional Research and Reporting, World Literature, Creative Writing, Critical Thinking, Drama and developmental English courses.

While studying writing at UNCW, my nonfiction was published extensively in the Wilmington Star News, CitySearch.com and The Pender Post. After earning my MFA in Creative Writing, my poetry appeared in journals such as Poetry East, Lilies and Cannonballs, ArtWord Quarterly, Canyon River Review, the Oklahoma Review, and locally published anthologies. In addition, my plays and comedy skits have been performed throughout the US Southeast. 

I currently teach full time at SCC while writing online classes and editing Aries, our college journal of literature, which is currently accepting submissions. Simply click on the link to the left to learn more.
